At Traen, our mission is to make the sports coaching process easier. The current coaching process has several flaws that can seriously affect your child’s experience such as: finding a coach in your area that meets your requirements, ensuring that the coach is trustworthy and meets your child’s needs, and finding a coach in your price range. All of these factors can restrict families options and stop your child from gaining all the resources that they need to improve in their sport and become the best player they can be. We have tackled these flaws by creating an app that provides experienced teenage coaches. This will not only solve all of the problems previously mentioned but also will make coaching more enjoyable for your child because they will be able to connect with our coaches on a more personal level due to the smaller age gap.

We have a personality test that all coaches and children will take during the initial sign up. This test helps us match players with coaches that would be best fit for them and how much they want to improve

All of our coaches are teenagers. This means that our services are much more affordable which makes coaching available to a wider variety of people and families.

We are bringing the community together and building it up by introducing the younger generations with the older ones. These younger kids are more likely to support and go to the older kids at their games because they now know someone on the team
How It Works:
When you have downloaded the app, you can start by doing a one-time sign-up to create your own account.
Next, you will answer a few simple questions and input some of your child’s information. If you have more than one child, you are able to add another profile for them that’s separate than your other child.
Your child will be asked to answer a personality quiz. This quiz is helpful for us because it allows us to match your child with a coach that is best fit for your child’s needs. You will be able to edit your personality test later on, by clicking the test icon at the bottom.
Once you are done with answering all of the questions, you will be brought to our home page. Where a list of all of the sports we offer will be shown. When you find the sport you want to be coached in, click it and you will be brought to another page.
This is the coaching page you will be brought to. It is a list of coaches in the sport you have chosen. The coaches will be listed in order of closest to you with their starting price per hour. When you find a coach that you look like you might want, you will click view profile
Once you click on a trainer, you will be brought to their page. Their page gives you a little blurb they wrote about themselves, their pricing for different session, and if you click the stars, ratings other costumers have given. When you are ready to book that coach, click book me!
This page is where you will input what type of session you want. You are also able to put any comments or concerns you might want to let your coach know in advance while booking the coach. You will submit the information and pay.
Finally, you will get a confirmation on the app from your coach. This confirmation will start a text thread that if you have any additional information you want to discuss with your coach, you will be able to do it then.
